Getting Your Test Results
Once a doctor has reviewed your test results, you can view them:
- Via the NHS app (or by signing into your NHS account online). You can set up your NHS log-in here.
- By contacting the practice by telephone on 023 9226 3138 from Monday to Friday, between 8:00am and 6:30pm.
If your results are normal, you will not be notified. You can access your test results via the NHS app or by contacting the practice by telephone.
If your results are abnormal or if further investigation is required, the practice will contact you directly. This could be by text message or telephone call.
Hospital Test Results
If your test has been carried out by the hospital or other NHS services, you will need to contact them for the result. The practice does not receive test results requested by clinicians outside of the practice. The hospital or NHS service will forward any test results to us if they require actioning by a GP.
Providing a Sample
All samples must be submitted in a suitable, sterile container. You can collect these from the front desk. Any samples submitted in an unsuitable container will be rejected.
